With Hus & The Next Generation, Belgian composer and pianist Walter Hus takes the stage with a group of young performers from the up-and coming generation of Brussels jazz musicians. Together they bring some of Hus' classical compositions back to life, transforming them into an explosive 'Power Jazz’. This unique musical alchemy perfectly reflects the interaction of talented youth with the maturity and madness of the atypical musician. 

Walter Hus came up with the idea to experiment his music with the youngsters after seeing his then 16-year old son playing with his friends from the jazz & pop music school. Inspired by this

intergenerational encounter and motivated by the dynamism and spirit of the young generation, he decided to create Hus & The Next Generation: a World Jazz crossover of youth & maturity.
