BRU JAZZ WE - Brussels Jazz Weekend

Piano boogie classics spice up the set list as a flavour enhancer through a repertoire of swing blues, jazz, rhythm & blues and jump, among others. The band also ventures into the music of Thelonius Monk, the Laurel & Hardy theme and Les Copains d'Abord by Georges Brassens. From time to time, the trio becomes a quartet with tenor saxophonist and friend Xavier Saget, with whom Boogie Phil has built up a strong musical bond over the years.
